This is more of a New Year Plan than a resolution. Before Christmas I did a quick tidy of the house (when I say quick I mean a couple of days, to do it properly would take weeks) and have come to the conclusion that my main problem is laundry. I sorted out the rooms upstairs and had piled everything onto the bed and sorted through it. I put everything that had a place away but was left with a mountain of clothes to wash or iron. My first job this year is to get on top of this and my resolution is to KEEP on top of it.
There was no way I was going to spend my christmas break ironing and washing so it has sat in neat piles in my bedroom for the last fortnight. It's my day off on Friday so I intend to spend all day ironing (whilst enjoying wonderful daytime tv). God knows where I'm going to put it all but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Then I need a system. Any ideas would be gratefully received.
